Oh so happy he made a safe trip home. Oh yes there are some great rv spots. In Louisiana we have a favorite little rv park right on a river. Great places to eat all around the area and a short trip to the casinos for shows and other fun including the best all you can eat seafood buffet I have ever seen. You know we prefer small quite parks. Get ready for the fun!

We may leave a month early to spend our winter in Florida this year, and check out some of those places. I prefer small quiet rv parks. What's that fave of yours on the river Raven. I'd like to research a few places..

Having never been south of Pennsylvania and Iowa in that part of the country, I don't have any idea to offer with regard to telling you "where to go", ... but you'll have lots of suggestions offered here, I'm sure.

Thank you OJ. Tobey left right after church to go get the RV. He'll be back tomorrow. I was going to go, but I need to make a large pot of potato soup. One of our neighbors just came home from the hospital, and he's not doing well. He has cancer, and he seems to be fading pretty rapidly. One of his favorite foods is tater soup, so I am making enough for a crowd and share it with his family and another neighbor that is having health issues,

I am sure looking forward to getting "On the road again" LOL

I'm glad Tobey had fun with his brother and that they got home safely. Where will you guys go when "You hit the road".

Well, our next trip will probably be to Kansas to visit my amazing niece. However, we'll leave the RV at home We stay with her when we go put there. I am not sure when that will be exactly. We are seeing a skin cancer specialist next week. When we find out what the surgery will entail, and find out when that will take place, the we are gong to go to Kansas. March 30, we head to Florida for a month here .

After that maybe wander on over to NOLA for a couple of weeks . In July, we head to Iowa, spend a week or two there. And then "wagon train" it out to Yellowstone for a couple of weeks with the kids. When the kids go back to Iowa, then we will meander our way southward here and there through Wyoming, Utah, California, Arizona, and then Eastward to either St Pete, Florida or the Florida Keys for the winter. At least that's the plan. Its all very flexible.

Glad to hear your good news :-) We'll be traveling in Wyoming toward the end of August. I'm excited to visit Yellowstone and see the Rockies for the first time.
