Guess, what trouble I got myself into last night
Comments (14)Lumpy, you are right. The pink one in the back is Encyclia Cordigera. The tag says it smell like chocolate... I love chocolate scent! The Catt. in front is polka dot " Nalo". It is fragrant too. In this group, only the Dancing Lady " Sweet Ears" does not have scent. but it has pretty flowers... Majority of them have very healthy roots, only couple that start to have root rot issue. In general, these orchid are in much better/healthier condition than most moth orchids I have seen at Lowe's My guess is that these are U.S grow orchids, not like other orchids which may be shipped from overseas. I just repotted them with much fast drain orchid mix. Pray they'll survive. Sunshine, now you've mentioned it, I recall that I have never seen Lowe's carries B. nodosa and Maxillaria either till I bought them. All I've seen were the Catt. and Oncid. too just like what you've seen. Maybe these were in the back roll that I could have missed it. There is a very good orchid farm here, I usually get my orchids from them , not from Lowe's. I will browse for a bargain but will not seriously pay an orchid with full price at Lowe's. It may well be those Catt. and Oncid. etc. more showy flowers caught my eyes. Anyways, Lowe's must have had it somewhere. You might check your local Lowe's store again to see if you've missed them....See Moresome new friends came home with me last night

Comments (28)Thanks Les, I'll have to check out those paint colors online. It's snowing here so I don't care to drive into the city. Although with fresh snow and warmer temps it would be a good day to get the car washed. I just don't care for how others drive as if the roads are perfect. I really like that fabric. Rich in color and texture. If I keep the wing chairs that I bought for this room, they'll be painted Magnaverde style depending on the wall color. The loveseat will most likely be replaced since it's a traditional that, in my opinion, might not transfer well even after reupholstering to fit the room. The chairs just might though. I think wing chairs are timeless. We'll see though. If not off the Library they'll go. I used to be able to visualize better than I have lately. Too much going on I guess. Lori, hubby says the chocolate chip and though this is my room I welcomed his decisiveness. And I'm a "Fall" so those colors work well for me. Make me look my best. Ha! ajsmama, I think six is either the same as the second set #one, so yes I think it would look good. Chocolate Milk with Chocolate Chip sounds right up my alley since I'm admittedly a chocoholic. :P mitchdesj, do you mean the first #3 or the second #3. I should have use the alphabet on the second group. Duh! :/...See MoreAmerica's Got Talent last nite
