I am struck by the similarity of the photo that Gazania posted and several i took this week. The birds enjoyed the berries on the holly and left lots of little berry packages on the newly fallen snow. I thought the birds were robins because they have a red breast, but now that I see Gazania's photo I am not so sure. What do you think mourning dove, robin, or other?

gazania_gw, I had that same situation in one of my hanging basket plants in the atrium last summer. I was terrified to water my plant and drown the babies so my plant ended up in very bad shape by the time they flew the coop lol. I put a little bird house out there now but they have not tried it out. It was such fun though having them in the atrium where we could watch them daily. I would put bird seed and water out for them. Tiny little birds, I guess they were finches.

For norar, a tree at a local park and.... And a pic of me, my sister-in-law and my sister. Oh, and did you notice the tree? LOL The Angel Oak in South Carolina is the most magnificent tree I have ever seen!

It's amazing, ElizabethA...supposed to be the world's largest floating crane constructing the bridge...it made it through the panama canal.
