Blinker problems. NEED HELP!

I have a 1998 dodge Dakota sport 6 cylinder. Whenever I turn my blinker on they don't come on nor does the dash blinker indicator. I've replaced my right running light bulb and still have a problem. It's not a fuse either. Theu work whenever the truck is off but when I start the truck they turn off as well as the blinker indicator in the dash. Open to any kind of ideas thanks!

I do not have a circuit diagram for your vehicle, so can only speak about generalities. First, most systems of that era required that all lamp loads in the blinker circuit be present for the blink operation to function properly. Are you certain that all signal lamp filaments are good? That's both ends of the truck, front back. There may be one or two lamp bulbs in the tail light. If its one, then it will have two filaments, one brighter than the other. The low wattage one is the running/parking lamp and the brighter one is the brake light. If you have 2 bulbs, there is a variety of combinations possible. Usually, one bulb will have two filaments and the other one, one filament. If you find that all lamps are good - Test for continuity. At times, a broken filament can be hard to detect visually. - then loook elsewhere for the problem. If all lamps are good, then the next common suspects are the blinker relay, and a control module if it has one. The next level is circuit continuity problems and this can encompass a large number of possibilities, and on older vehicles may be caused by corrosion or broken wires. In the northern tier of states, corrosion from road salts is a problem. Examine all connectors and grounds in the signal lamp circuits.

The blinker switch and connections at the end of the blinker lever are suspect also.

It does appear that the exterior soil is higher than the slab. That will always allow water into the interior. The grade away from the home should start 6" below the sill plate, and extend away from the home 10 feet or more. If you closed during winter weather, where final grading was yet to be done, that could be one explanation for improper grading. But this is a builder issue, and should start with him, and his warranty for his work. If you are unable to get a satisfactory solution after those conversations, then pictures and measurements are useful tools when visiting your code inspection office. If you do not have a laser level to shoot the horizontal line, you can use a water level. It is simple and inexpensive to build. But, I would highly recommend buying a 3 axis laser level for general home use. It's great for hanging pictures, and all kinds of home projects.

Wether you're keeping the existing gray/blue you just painted or go ahead with the grayish green I suggested I'm not sure it will work with SW Alabaster. Look below at how different the Alabaster colour looks from one site to another. If the real colour is like the top one that looks beige, it won't work. You'd be better off with SW Pure White for the trim.

I'd jump right to the blower motor, clamp a current meter on a lead and see what it's pulling. Which motor was changed, the blower motor on the inside? The capacitor on the front looks new, was that the "conductor thing" you said they replaced? Could be a voltage drop someplace to the blower unit and causing the internal overload in the motor to trip, but I need to know what motor was replaced.
