Comments (4)1st loan specialist (ha-ha) said nope, nothing has changed. supervisor, yea right, probably just a coworker actually admitted it had changed. seems WF was getting fed money for any loans being modified. even the folks with current loans with good payment history like myself. of course i can refi on my own now, and pay all fees. its just the lying that sucks. WF could just say, yes 1 year ago we did have a 1yr waiting period but now the program has changed and you can do it only once. so piss me off with made up stories or tell me the truth....See MoreAnyone Use Cup Pulls on Your Pull Out Trash
Comments (8)I was going to ask this same question today! Great minds..... ;) Anywho, I'm not concerned with the "messy" hands- I plan to use a bin pull on the trash cabinet. But, I am also wondering if I can use the same pulls on dishwasher drawers and refrigerator drawers (obviously, I plan to use panels on these appliances, hence the need for hardware). Anyone have this? I want to keep the hardware styles to a minimum.... of 2 to be exact. Bin pulls on the drawers, knobs on the doors....See MoreWhere was your money well spent? What could you have done without?
Comments (5)We just moved in this month. I removed the fake jennaire cooktop and micro/wall oven combo. Installed a nice gas range and 600 cfm ducted hood. A clean smelling home is important and I hate lingering food odors. We removed the Formica counters held together with scotch tape. Did oiled butcher block on the island where the cooktop had been. Did porcelain tile, which I had and loved in previous kitchen, for perimeter counters with new sink and faucet. We are keeping the oak cabinets oak, as they are high quality. I added new stainless pulls. I will be painting the trim and the doors to the room all in white. I will eventually paint the island cabinets a washed black/gray color. Goal is to be done for thanksgiving. So to me, a good gas stove, good hood, and functional counters and a deep sink are what I think is important to make a kitchen a pleasure to use....See MoreHafele pull-out for oil etc - do you like yours?
Comments (5)Good questions! It looks like it's adjustable, but I'll need to check. It's definitely tall enough for oil bottles, buehl - that's one of the reasons I'm interested in it. It's 20" tall. Mindstorm, I like the look of yours but wonder if it's tall enough for oil. It doesn't look like it to me but I could be wrong...I also like the narrowness of the one I'm looking at - it's only 6" wide. Buehl, you make a good point about refrigeration. Truth is, most of my oils are in the fridge, and my nuts and pt butter - I heard that olive oil is okay at room temp so have always stored it that way, but investigating that is probably not a bad idea...since that's mostly what i use for cooking...i would also use the pull out it for flavored vinegars, cooking wines and sherries, , soy sauce, etc...which don't need refrigeration and which are currently in a mess on the counter, or in the cabinet. Happy Holidays to all, thanks for your advice as always - I'm guessing this site will be kind of quiet this week...now that I have time off and can delve into kitchen-ing! momor...See MoreNothing Left to Say
