Would like assistance with a bid comparison
Comments (10)Thank you for the input. I was thinking the 16 SEER was the better deal. For some reason we had 4 bids for other brands that were coming in over $18K but they all wanted to replace our concrete slab outside, which doesn't need to be replaced. The two Trane come in the lowest. It could also be the area we live in that Trane happen to come in the lowest right now. We have to replace everything with our heating and ac. So it does include the air handlers. Due to the heating being the old pilot light system and having to match everything to code we are upgrading eveything at one time. Actually, it is coming out to be more cost effective now for us to do it that way and this time of year for us. 9 years ago we had a home warranty ac unit installed that has failed and was not the right load, we have learned through this bid process. The rest of the system is original to the house which is 19 years old. We also learn from our bids, our heating and ac guy wasn't doing a good job maintaining. Really..it hasn't been done. We had shut done the heat last year, which was good because we were told by everyone we could have had a fire! So...we are at that place of needing to replace everything....See MoreAttn: glenda_al

Comments (19)RH is over priced for what you get. Although I do have two of the RH Optic pendants I don't think I will buy anything at another so called "lifestyle" merchant. Just something is bugging me about RH and Pottery Barn and exactly what they are trying to sell/market. If I had to do it over again I would have gotten restored vintage fixtures but the BW would not let me spend that kind of money this go round. I like either of the two other options with the Kichler coming out on top. Keep in mind that you are getting no real ambient lighting with any of these....See MoreT-day Invite to Glenda al
Comments (23)Glenda, I didn't know you were going to be alone Thanksgiving. You know you would have been more than welcome here. Of course you would have had to let Luther get over his 5 minutes of elation of having company first though before he settled down. sigh I'm glad you will be dining with Carole. Love to you Miss Glemder. Linda...See More- 9 years agolast modified: 9 years ago
