What are doing for a coffee table?

Sammy-I am going to use the current coffee table. It should work size wise with the new sofa according to the online measurements. Fingers crossed.

I wouldn't add a lot of pillows, IMO they detract from the beauty of the tufted couch. Maybe have four made for the ends - two from the shade fabric and two from a solid (pull a color from the shade). Then look for a lumbar style for the middle, something unique - embroidery, needlepoint, perhaps a stylized monogram.

Wait until the sofa is in the room.

That couch really doesn't need pillows it's a star on it's own. If you can get the fabric of the shade may be a couple of that.

I agree wait for the sofa for a better idea of what you want for chairs but I think something like this would go well.

I really prefer the montpelier arm chair of the 2 linked above. the other one is lovely but looks like it wil be time stamped so to speak (trend). However, I can't help but notice that the montpelier chair cushion looks badly made and if this is the for sale photo, it's not showing well.

I have to disagree about using the shade fabric for pillows too. Just my own personal thoughts, but to me, that is just too "matchy-matchy" in a room. I agree in waiting till the sofa is there in the room. I also agree with using an accent chair in a color. Maybe visit some fabric stores and get some samples.
