Quick bread: Slice before freezing?

I have some commercial loaf pans and just made 8 loaves of cranberry walnut banana bread (well, almost 8, it is so good I'm eating a slice off of one right now). I want to freeze 7 of the loaves. The advantage to slicing before freezing is that I can remove a slice at a time and let it defrost or toast it. Are there any down sides to slicing first?
