Mango tree sick.

Mango tree that I grew from a seed. It was doing great until Texas had a string of wet weather back in October and seemed to contract some type of sickness. I have been growing it inside since then under grow lights but the tree is still sick with something. I have tried fungicide spray from miracle grow but it has not helped and seemed to make the leaves even worse. I do not know what to do. Anyone know what sickness my mango tree has? I reported it yesterday with a fluffier soil so I can water it more. In the past I was using miracle grow but that soil cannot be watered often or you will water log it.

I love using roots organic because it is fluffy and never clumps or water logs. Tree is around 5 months old.

I tried trimming off 7-8 of the worst leaves around two weeks ago but the other leaves just got worse. This sickness will not go away. Any tips appreciated.

Don't expect the same growth year round. Now that you have repotted it will be in shock. Proper watering is essential the next couple of months. Also, I don't really see a problem with the tree.

The leaves have a bunch of black spots and fungal type spots on them the tree leaves are not solid green. It may not be pictured well here are some pictures to show you.

i also have a very expensive grow light setup tent. I have a 600watt HPS.

This happened after I applied fungicide to the leaves.

And this was what I'm fighting.

Jeff, thanks for all your help. I'm looking into a variety of products that might fit my needs. I'm finding many are geared towards large growers and so the quantities they are offered at are overkill for my one puny tree. I do see that Southern Ag offers a Chelated General Purpose Minor Element Spray which might be applicable as a soil drench: CHELATED GENERAL PURPOSE MINOR ELEMENT SPRAY Ã¯Â¿Â½ Can be used on all plants including lawns Ã¯Â¿Â½ Contains 6 important nutrients including iron Ã¯Â¿Â½ Prevents & corrects deficiencies that cause yellowing CONTAINS: Iron 2.75%, Manganese 1.00%, Zinc 0.50%, Magnesium 0.50%, Copper 0.25%, and Sulfur 3.8%. USE ON: Flowers, shrubs, trees, vegetables and lawns CONTROLS: Minor element deficiencies, yellowing of foliage, etc. NOTE: Deficiency symptoms can be caused by improper soil pH. RATE: Foliar: 1 tbs. per gallon of water drench: 1 oz. per 100 sq. ft. Lawns: 1 pt. per 1,000 sq. ft. APPLICATION: Mix with water and apply as a drenching spray. I'm going to look into this further.

Peat pots for Mangoes? NEVER!..not here. Cut off the lip on those pots to below soil level..and plant in BLACK NURSERY POTS. What they need here is- heat. Black pots absorb heat. Put those plants against the hottest wall you have...and water the heck out of them all summer. When they start to flush? Fertilize THEN. Its when they absorb it best I found. I have a near 9' Mango,thats flowering and I did all I told you (mine was never in a peat pot) until I planted it..in the hottest spot I have. Mangoes in the bay area need to babied the first two years in ground..NO frost. Cover,heat, whatever needs to be done,but no frost.
