I removed all of the dead/spotted leaves, and now there is a very very small leaf growing near the bottom of the trunk. Thats about it. The weather has been pretty mild here(low 70s with grey skies), so I don't expect much growth. Its going to start heating up this weekend. I plan on moving it to a bigger container(with fresh soil, wormcasting/rock dust/mycorrhizae/ next week in preperation of the summer heat to see if I can re-vive it. Will update the thread in a few weeks.

Just by chance, did you put in any fertilizer stakes or fertilize them when you bought the house? If so, you might have overdone it with the nitrogen. A heavy nitrogen feed and lack of water will cause leaf drop and that kind of damage. Just a guess though. I would water them and pull up any fertilizer stakes asap. They should recover being such big trees.

Although it is fruiting otherwise your plant does not look very happy. And with trees in general distressed specimens may load up with fruits, as though trying to compensate for a likely impending future absence from the local production pool. Mango – California Rare Fruit Growers, Inc. (crfg.org)
