custom cabinet maker north of Boston?
Comments (16)Check out Faneuil Kitchens in Hingham. I'm sure they will go North. They have done a lot in the western suburbs and a ton on the Cape. They have done two kitchens for me, beautiful and no issues. They are a total custom shop so they can do whatever you want. They have amazing craftsmanship! Regarding granite suppliers I have not been to Boston Granite Exchange, I found my marble at Century Stone in Braintree and used Rich Rann (Woodstone Fabrication) in Pembroke....See MoreNeed kitchen designer Boston North
Comments (11)Are you looking for someone to help you make purchases and/or hook you up with specific vendors? Someone to make recommendations that are pure aesthetic design? Someone to recommend re-configurations? A "project manager"? I ask because we just finished a "refresh" (I posted a reveal thread), and we basically hired a contactor to actually do the work, but we made all of the aesthetic decisions and orders ourselves. I probably would have wanted a dedicated KD if we had gutted the whole kitchen, but since we were just refreshing, I wasn't sure what their real role would be....See MoreRecommended cabinet maker Boston North
Comments (1)I had a vanity, built-ins for my daughter's room, and a desk made by Village Woodworking in Topsfield. They do very nice work and install what they make. I priced them when I did my kitchen and it was quite a bit more than what I ended up with (which was Crownpoint out of New Hampshire... which I am VERY pleased with)....See MoreRecommendations for flooring guys/crew - North of Boston
Comments (0)If you have had floors refinished lately, and were pleased with your contractor/team, I would appreciate getting some contact info and/or general advice as to how to survive the project and how long to expect the process to take. We have a Cape built in the 1960s, and have the original golden/orange oak floors throughout. It's a fairly sizeable project (I think?), and I'd like to get this done this winter/spring. While I have a resource, it's a single guy who works on his own and I'm concerned about how long it will take him and how long we will need to be out of the house. Scope: Old part of the house – floors haven’t been done in 17 years Front Hall – 10x9 TV room – 18 x 12 Hallway – 4 x 16 Bedroom – 11x12 Bedroom – 11x13 Bedroom 12.5 x 15 5 closets New part of the house. Floors were refinished 4 or so years ago. These should be touched up. Pantry – 7x10 Kitchen – 17 x 23 Map room – 15x15 Thanks in advance....See Moreoldbat2be
