Cabinet Coat Paint north of Boston
Comments (11)If you can't find anyone who will order it for you in your area you might try online. I saw it on amazon.com. There are a couple different ones listed with different order numbers. I couldn't tell what the difference was. I think it can come in one of their pre-mixed colors, or you can buy the tintable base and have it tinted your own color, so maybe that's the difference. It can only be tinted light, pastel colors I read. I think some of those vendors on the Amazon site sold it in cans of 2. I just did cabinets, baseboard trim and a door in a bathroom and didn't even use a half of a gallon can. I think I paid about $40 for the gallon size. The store where I bought it locally also sold several other brands of paint. I picked an off-white paint chip from one of the other brands and they mixed it in the cabinet coat base. They had to tweak it though, (added about 2 1/2 times the normal amount of colorant) to get it the right color. It is a really nice finish, so I hope you can find it. Comments (3)I used Central New England Distr 223 Main St, Woburn. I was looking for a rustic and distressed look and I was trying to keep the renovation below 20K. They had the most rustic, distressed to choose from and also came in lower then most. Everything worked out great. Not sure where you live but I think there main office is in Northboro. I did visit a gazillion places, even the big box stores. If you drive around, you'll notice there's cabinet places everywhere!! Did your KD leave you with the drawings with measurements? The cabinet places have very knowledgeable employees who can work up your plan and give you a quote. I would go to a bunch close by and find cabinets you love, then sit down with somebody there. Good Luck....See MoreRecommendations for flooring guys/crew - North of Boston

Comments (7)I am trying to figure out how to make a link -- John did two bathroom remodels for us; not the cheapest but thorough, very nice, and when stuff goes wrong (because it always does) he figured out the challenges, corrected things and make them right absolutely no complaints or arguments about it. He was also terrific about listening to questions, different ways to do things, and to work with stuff they hadn't before (choreograph). So in my book -- it doesn't get any better than that, someone who is honest and does what they say they will do, and does very nice work. His Dad did the tiling and I thought he was super conscientious and we made grout samples, etc. to see what looked best. Hope this link works, you will see John and his Dad (also John). http://www.houzz.com/pro/kitchensbylombcollc/kitchens-by-lombco They are based in Tewksbury....See Moredhs_60
