Newbie Seed Project Needs Veggie Donations

Hi All,

Some of you might recognize me, but in general I tend to "hang out" in the Seed Exchange area. I took over the Newbie Seed Project 3 yrs ago from Bakemom who started it 10 yrs before that. We send out packs of 25+ varieties to newbies who send in stamps, to help get them started.

I'm running terribly low (almost out) of veggie seeds for newbies, and another member suggested I might post here asking for donations.

If you have any extra veggie seeds you're willing to send for Newbies, please message me. In december alone, I sent out 25 newbie packs, which is pretty busy for holiday time.

I have received 3 mailers with seeds in the past week and a half. I will try to get the zip codes posted. We have had some major family issues, and I am about a week behind right now. Hi, I have nonGMO from Botanical Interests: Buckwheat, Peas for shoots/micro greens, fenugreek sprouts and red velvet lettuce. And Painted Mountain Corn from Finney Farm in WA. I also have straight eight cucumber and Cali wonder pepper (from Burpee Organic). I don't want them to go to waste, they 'expire' in 2018/2019 and I have more seeds than I need for the next 3 years. Please let me know where to send them! Thanks!

Anyone who wants to send me seeds to see if they will germinate or grow well in indoor conditions let me know. Also taking Unprocessed seedsvor seeds that were thrown on a giant tarl or in a giant seed bag marked, "Will grow, free to someone, Was cold". I'm in California will do indoor and outdoor or sort the seeds as best i can and resend viable seeds to tue project.
