Hey there, Val. I spent all of yesterday afternoon processing veggies and collecting seeds. I still have more to do but I intent to send you some seeds once I've collected, dried and packaged the rest of mine.

I trying to help an old time gardener with cleaning up his garden in exchange for keeping whatever I want, so I should be able to send a bunch later.

Thanks so much to both of you! I know seed saving season is still going on. Appreciate your donations for the newbies this coming winter/spring! Life got busy (vacation, trasmission went in car, back to work, etc) and I have been delayed checking back in

It's been a few years since I've culled out my seed cabinet. I got a bunch of seed from going all the way back to 2010 that I'm clearing out, lol. Anyway, as I clean stuff out.. is 2015 seed too old to donate? I realize older than that is getting too old to trust so much without me doing some germination testing on stuff so that's going into it's own pile...

But I seem to have a lot of half used packets and such of stuff I'm probably not going to grow again or only going to use so much of the seed of in the next year or two dating 2015 and forward.

Thanks all, I've received a couple messages as well asking for my address, which I've forwarded. The newbie seed project has gotten off to a slow start this season. I opened it in Sept, but January has been the busiest month so far, which is somewhat unusual. I often have alot of requests in Nov & Dec. All donations will go to a good cause -- helping the newbies get started! :D

Anyone who wants to send me seeds to see if they will germinate or grow well in indoor conditions let me know. Also taking Unprocessed seedsvor seeds that were thrown on a giant tarl or in a giant seed bag marked, "Will grow, free to someone, Was cold". I'm in California will do indoor and outdoor or sort the seeds as best i can and resend viable seeds to tue project.
