Exercises last week, and yesterday

I am just not good, at posting this thread. Prolly, cause it can't be done first thing in the morning... cause I still have to exercise?

Last week I walked or rode my bike every day. Friday was the last day to pay house taxes, and I rode my bike downtown to do so. That is, when I got the pictures with the HUGE Christmas ornaments.

Yesterday was the first ride of the year of our local bike club. At one point I gave my riding/touring buddy Mel my camera and he got this shot of me.

Yes, it was warm enough once again, to ride in shorts. AWESOME, I ended the year with a bike ride, wearing shorts, and I started the new one the same way.

Nope, Mel is my touring partner since 2013, and best friend. and... I left the Florida guy, after his true self came out.

Good for you to get your exercise! Isn't Mel the Florida guy that you moved in with or am I confused?

I am really only doing shoulder and neck exercises. I have degenerative disc disorder between my c5 & c6 and a torn muscle in front of my shoulder on the right side. So I'm doing some stretches for that. And decided to do a plank a day. I'm on day 3 now. Not really timing them, just doing them as long as I can. I thought it would hurt my shoulder and neck while doing them, but it doesn't at all. I need to firm up my core. And my arms. And my legs. And back...... My body seems to have fallen and I need to get it back up again. ;)

Walked the dog and did leg workout. I have been avoiding workouts since I got a gym membership - last year. It totally uninspired me and had been working out routinely before joining? I am still confused by this. There is a lot of renovations being done here so I was also using that as an excuse also. Yesterday was my first real workout in awhile. I didn't go crazy because I don't want to feel it too much.

It's Thursday March 2. Things here are not going as well as we hoped. My Aussie sis got sick Saturday mostly puking and eventually the runs. Then I came down with similar symptoms, but somehow the German sis escaped it so far. We also realized the mess and smell is so overwhelming that we can only work for a few hours at the time, and need a day off the next day. None of us realized how bad the hoarding had gotten. It's hard to know mother lived in there. luckily the have big garbage pick up on Wednesday! well, we are about to take another 45 minute drive to get there, for another total purging session. i hope someone else can take over the exercise thread till I fly back home. I walked after school today for about 30 minutes with friends. After the tornado warning, the rain subsided, so friends and I were able to walk after school today. We walked for about 30 minutes before the rain commenced. Did my stretches this morning, too. Hoping to go to yoga class tomorrow morning.

The bike Mel rides is actually harder to do! Pushing forward without having gravity on your side as you do in regular biking. Kudos!

Moni, you look fit and professional as always.

I have been having trouble with my foot for 6 months. Nothing can be done, just have to wait for it to heal. In the meantime, I still go to my weight training classes, I just modify when my foot comes in to play.

It has been raining lately, so no walks with the dog! We take him on car rides to ward off the boredom.

Yesterday I walked 2 miles to the gym, worked out for an hour, walked home 2 miles. Today I am going to walk 4 miles. It is around 55 degrees, but kind of damp out.

It came up to 65 today, and I rode my longest bike ride for this year... LOL, 36.6 miles. Here is proof, it was warm again... came up to 65. But from here on out, it goes lower and lower... and I have no idea when I will get back on my bike.

Used machines three days last week, instead of water aerobics.

Missed out today, due to bad weather. Stay at home all day.

Oklamoni, your post made me look at the weather. Looks like I'll be walking on the treadmill at least until next Monday or Tuesday.

I need to get out for some exercise like the rest of you! I tend to hibernate during cold weather and gain weight. If it weren't for my dog insisting on her daily walk, my blood would probably stop circulating.

Even though I had an 11AM dentist app't this AM, I still made it to pulmonary rehab and did 30 minutes on the NuStep. It had been closed Sat so I didn't want to miss today.
