Exercises last week, and yesterday
Comments (9)The bike Mel rides is actually harder to do! Pushing forward without having gravity on your side as you do in regular biking. Kudos! Moni, you look fit and professional as always. I have been having trouble with my foot for 6 months. Nothing can be done, just have to wait for it to heal. In the meantime, I still go to my weight training classes, I just modify when my foot comes in to play. It has been raining lately, so no walks with the dog! We take him on car rides to ward off the boredom....See MoreExercises the fourth week of January
Comments (13)I'm glad to see that I can come here to get some motivation on the days that I am slacking! Walked 7 miles today -- cold, wind chill was the big issue, but the sun was out for most of the day -- the first day that I can remember in weeks! I had put on too much weight so far this year, and had really allowed myself to get deconditioned after a series of injuries (including broken toes followed by plantar fasciitis). I miss the feel-good of running but just couldn't seem to get myself up and out -- I guess fear of the foot pain returning had something to do with that. So I took vacation days this past week, set last Monday as the day, cut out grains, sugars, milk and legumes, and dusted off my "The Firm" exercise videos (plus a few others). So far so good -- I've alternated videos with walking, even jogged a few minutes, every day. It is back to work on Wednesday; hopefully I've far enough into the "reset" to keep my momentum after working 12 hour shifts....See MoreExercise thread week 12
Comments (11)Between running, strength-gym work and walking the dog, I'm exercising every day. Last Sunday we did a two hour trail run through a canyon and didn't hit any snow but we were scrambling over some downed trees which were victims of our horrible winter....See MoreExercise thread week 14
Comments (14)I walked after school today for about 30 minutes with friends. After the tornado warning, the rain subsided, so friends and I were able to walk after school today. We walked for about 30 minutes before the rain commenced. Did my stretches this morning, too. Hoping to go to yoga class tomorrow morning....See MoreAdella Bedella
