Exercise thread week 12

I am back on the bike. Rode Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Anyone else exercising this week?

I've just been walking one mile a day. Starting 2 miles a day today and moving up for the next week. In a week I'm going to start going to the gym again and not do any walking. Just trying to see if any of my exercises are what made my Piriformis muscle and sciatica nerve fight.

I'm back in the swing of things by going to water aerobics. Taking the day off to play Mexican Train, but will go again, Friday.

Nothing, still have a respiratory thing going on. I feel horrible, though, not only from the bug i have but from not walking in so long. the weight is creeping up too.

Walked ALL the way from the computer desk to the coffee pot, lifted that big heavy pot to pour a refill in my cup, and walked ALL the way back...lol. In all seriousness, going to finish painting a 2 bedroom unit today, that shoud be a decent workout. Suzan J

The bike Mel rides is actually harder to do! Pushing forward without having gravity on your side as you do in regular biking. Kudos! Moni, you look fit and professional as always. I have been having trouble with my foot for 6 months. Nothing can be done, just have to wait for it to heal. In the meantime, I still go to my weight training classes, I just modify when my foot comes in to play. It has been raining lately, so no walks with the dog! We take him on car rides to ward off the boredom.

Thanks Adella! walked a bunch yesterday, but the crunch came today. i stopped counting after going up and down 15 times. We hauled everything down 3 flights of stairs today. Mothers condo is empty. Yippee!

My fractured ankle is healed enough so that I can do 10,000 steps again. Yayyyy! Did that Tuesday, Wednesday and will soon be there today. I hope to begin walking outdoors again (too icy until now) and go up to 12,000 steps.

Since I'm NOT working construction every day.....yay! I'm jogging and walking...5.5 miles, 5 days a week! Yaaaaaay!

I exercise most everyday. The bike is one of my favorites. I like the classes but recently bought a bike for my daughter to help recovery from ACL surgery. So easy to jump on in the mornings and a great workout!

Between running, strength-gym work and walking the dog, I'm exercising every day. Last Sunday we did a two hour trail run through a canyon and didn't hit any snow but we were scrambling over some downed trees which were victims of our horrible winter.

I haven't exercised this week. We are recovering from spring break and dh has some sort of virus.

I'm recuperating from a rib injury over 2 weeks ago. I plan to start exercising walks tomorrow.

Jem, take it slow. rib injuries take time to heal. Walks shouldn't hurt them... but otherwise, take your time!

Just got back from a 28 mile ride. Very windy... which was hard at the start, but so sweet, on my back on the way home. Yee Haw! Moni

I'm trying to walk 20 min a day which is almost nothing, bu it's a start back on the band wagon.
