Help..need to make decision on Wolf WD quickly.
Comments (5)I did get the pan set for the warming drawer. I have a friend who has them and she really likes hers. We haven't moved into our new home yet so I haven't used any of my appliances. I can see using the pans for a party or big dinner (like Thanksgiving or Christmas). I would love to hear from anyone else who has them and whether or not they use them. They cost $337 and I am going to figure out lots of uses for them!:-) Let us know if you buy the WD. Like you, I loved the fact that it would automatically turn off. I am much more forgetful these days and have been known to leave a burner or the oven on. One other quirky thing that I am anxious to try is that it is approved for warming towels! I have 3 year old twin grandsons and I can't wait to have warm towels ready when they finish their bath! Nancy...See MoreHelp: Need to make decision on this tile quickly
Comments (4)I like the lighter one on the rightand I also think the smaller rug idea 24x59 works better for the space. 21 sf should be plenty for a rug and the niche, or possibly the rug and the shower floor, but as you said it is cutting it very close. You could do a border out of 4x12 or even 6x12 around the basketweave in the shower.. mimicking the main floor, then you might be able to put it in the niche as well. L0astly, I would not mix the two. It might look like you ran out of one and had to get another.. KWIM?...See MoreNew Pool Build Progressing Quickly - Decisions Needed!
Comments (34)Forgive me if I'm wrong but, you've upgraded your circ pumps for the swim jets etc so there's going to be quite a suction at the main drain and skimmers. I only see one rather thin main drain in the pictures and it makes me wonder if it will present an entrapment and possible even an evisceration hazard. I'm not familiar with that style of drain (I do municiple pools) but the drain box seems rather shallow and narrow. Was there any information about water velocity through the drain grating etc? Did they fit a vacuum switch to turn off the pumps of someone managed to block the suction with their body? As I said, I work in public pools so I don't generally see what residential equipment performances are like. Out hot tubs are generally in the 450+ GPM range though we do have a toddlers pool at 180 GPM and that needed three 24" square drains (each with it's own suction line) and special grating to ensure kids can't get trapped....See MoreButler's Pantry Decision Help Needed Quickly - Pics Included
Comments (12)Thanks for the pictures. This is one of those occasions where it really will be fine, whatever you do. You have a very complex and detailed door style, however, and you're going to add to that with glass in the center. This might be a good occasion to decide that more is enough, and more-is-more is too much. I, personally, would even rethink the glass. It might be nice for brightening up the area, especially if you're going to light the cabinet, but the repetition of forms in your picture with them all at the same level is pleasing to the eye. I think that repetition gets lost in the ones that are raised, and will be even more lost with the glass. BTW, with the ones raised and brought forward, do you have trim to fill the space on the sides, behind the center cabinet? If not, that's a no-go....See Moreoneandonlybobjones
