I have had to throw some of the babies away including the 2 remainining somalense, 3 arabicums, plus one of the big (well big for me!) obesums is still very suspect, sigh. I unpotted it and some roots are 'deflated', just like empty tubes, the caudex is spongy also, not a good sign I think? Guess someone decided I was never destined to grow these plants to flowering point. Oh well, fingers are still tightly crossed for the survivors. Gill......from a very wet and soggy UK!

Dear Forum Members, Happy New Year to all of you! Since IÂm new to this forum let me introduce myself. My name is Desi. I am a graphic artist and Cross Stitch designer. I have been a cross stitcher since 12 years old, when I first learned the craft from my mom. I have been referred to this forum as a meeting place for people like me. Nowadays I create my own designs. I am fascinated by needlepoint and cross stitch reproductions of famous art pieces and the great masters. Since I am also an Art History major I combine my love for the arts with my favorite hobby. Bank teller - my sister did that for 17 years. Now she is an aesthetician - go figure!! I will say that she was/is excellent at both professions - sister or not. I know thing though, banking sure has changed. I remember when she told me that a machine would replace a teller job. I thought she was CRAZY - and now look; we even have totally online banking. Who would have though...
