Would love some input for my living room lighting..not sure what to do

I would like to redo the lighting in my living room and not sure
what to do. Living room is 11' x 22' with 10' high ceilings. There
are two windows (46" wide by 85" tall) but we dont seem to get alot
natural light in the room. No fixed lighting installed when we bought
the home. Just lamps currently.

I was thinking
about adding some recessed lights but not sure where. I was thinking i
would put four of them towards the center of the room. This is poorly
illustrated on my diagram. I was also thinking about putting two
additional lights along each of the shorter walls. I was also thinking
of a nice pendant or small chandelier over the piano. I will probably
put some ambient color lighting behind the television as well. If
need some reading lights i could always add a lamp or two on the table
behind the couch.

I am not real sure of the spacing
for the recessed lights along the 11 foot walls. Electician suggested
we put them about 18" from the wall. The thought was that we wanted to
better illuminate some pictures we have on the walls.

Too
much? Too little? Bad spacing? The room will have a ceiling fan, we
havent decided if the fan should have a light or not. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
