Anyone else outwitted by a tissue stealing dog?

I have allergies that flare up rather often, causing either a runny nose or sneezing, so I keep a tissue box in our den, where I spend most of my at home time. While our dog will ignore the toilet paper roll, she'll climb on and over anything to yank a tissue from the box. If I don't catch her in the act and yell 'drop it' she'll devour it, which I know is risky for a bowel obstruction.

Although our mantle would be too high for her to reach, I prefer keeping the tissue box on the table between my sofa and chair so it's in easy reach when I'm watching t.v. or reading. But of course, if I forget to move it higher before walking into the kitchen, she's pulling one out the second I turn my back!

I'm thinking I'll have to use a lidded box to put the tissue box into, hoping she won't go so far as to try and get the lid off, to get to her 'treasure.' But it kinda bugs me that I won't be able to grab a tissue as quickly, if I have to open a lid first. Anyone else have a dog with a tissue fettish?
