Brugmansia seed pod question

User

I asked this on the Brugmansia forum, but it's pretty dead over there. I know we have some brug growers that pop in here from time to time.

I have three brugs, all grown from cuttings from the same plant, all NOID pink suaveolens (look a lot like Frosty Pink). They are all planted in a row. The other day, I realized that two of my bloom stems had not fallen off, and now there seem to be seed pods growing. I live in an area with lots of apartment complexes, and have never seen a brug anywhere in this neighborhood (which doesn't mean there aren't any).

I have always been told that you need two varieties to cross-pollinate, but here I am with seed pods, seemingly from one variety, just different plants. There are pods on two of the bushes.

So I know that most of them will be white, which is o.k., since I don't have a white one, but how could this happen?
