Are termites a deal breaker?

My husband and I are two weeks away from closing on a house and just learned that the house was treated for termites in April and had a previous infestation as well. The termites came in through two areas of the house and damaged the living room floor. The current owner, a house flipper who has only owned the house for two months, replaced several floor boards. We don't know what other repairs he made.

We're worried about future infestations and the structural damage this might have caused. We're angry that the termite infestation wasn't disclosed to us earlier. We only learned about the termite issue when a VA loan inspector pulled up the previous real estate listing that mentioned the termite problem. We brought the issue up to our realtor, who also represents the seller, before the owner sent us the termite inspection report yesterday. Clearly, they had intended not to tell us about the termite problem.

The termite inspection report doesn't mention structural damage, but it notes that there were areas that the inspector couldn't access and see. It also notes previous drill holes in the foundation for termite treatment. The inspector was the same person who did the termite extermination.

Would you walk away from this house?
