Hello everyone! Below you will see the two young lemon trees I grew this past summer. The one on the left rooted from a cutting I took from my fruit salad tree (has not fruited for me yet, see my other thread), from the lemon branch of it in April 14, 2016.

The one on the right I grafted from the same salad tree branch (lemon) in July 16, 2016 on a few months old orange seedling. As you see the lemon tree that grows on its own roots is shorter ( 8 inches) than the grafted lemon (12 inches). They both need to be moved to another pot. I used the same potting soil ( ProMix) for both and same conditions. I see dieback on a shorter lemon tree starting. Please help me to give these babies a very good start in life. I don't want them to struggle.

The taller tree has new growth coming.
