pllog- why do bakers hate GE ovens?
Comments (43)Here's your picture of the Thermador 36 inch with mirror finish. It is more silver than you see in most pictures, The gold tone is definitely Lacking. $3600 at Pacific Sales. You can buy 2 of the new 36" Elux for that ($1800 for the black trim or $1900 for the SS trim) I was hoping they had the new model Elux there, but they didn't, only a brochure, I would try to see one before you make a final decision just go to Elux's site to get the number of their newest model. Trimless, you will probably hafe to go with the Miele, which also has real timers, which even the new Elux , does not! Anyway Here's the Pic of the Thermador, (Sorry they did not have a GE There....See Moreappropriate gift for son's (serious) girlfriend
Comments (17)If it were me, I'd check with my son. There might be a book that she has been wanting for a long time, or maybe a CD. Did you know that the CD players are low costing? Go look at all the wonderful electronic gifts the stores have this year. Wonderful things. How about cell-phone time. A certificate, plus a pretty Christmas tin filled with fruites, candies, or nuts. Several quick food eating places have gift cards and food credit cards with a set amount of money. My husband picked up a (pretty) toaster that cooks eggs-toast-frozen cooked sausage all at the same time. Makes an Egg McMuffin. They are called "Back to Basics" and can be found just about every where this year such as Target, WalMart, etc. Very popular with college kids and are the most sold gifts this year as per a report....See MoreShow me your rack! Comments (24)It's here! It's black, and I'd rather the verdigris; I wonder if I can paint it? Here is the naked pic: Okay, so I got started on the wine. First things first! Here's how it looks now: On the middle shelf, the two plates in the middle are going to get easels to stand up on. The bowl on the bottom was made by a neighbor for our wedding. Yeah, I know, ditch the packet of towels hanging from the hook. I think I have some pretty mugs to hang there....if not, MacKenzie Childs mugs come up from time to time on the local market. But I think I will see what else I have. I think it needs a bit more...something. Those scallops near the top are stem glass holders. I guess I could hang my footed sundae glasses there, but what else can I do with it? I don't want to hang wine glasses. On the bottom shelf, I'd like to put the yellow casserole, but it's so heavy it would bend the bars. Maybe a glass shelf? I tried my French linen covered boxes, but the color was just wrong, too greige and earthy. But when I take down the wallpaper and paint, maybe. what can I do on the top shelf? A rooster?...See MoreDo not inhale!!!! I'm serious!!!! Don't inhale!!!
Comments (14)From Wikipedia: Ammonium carbonate may be used as a leavening agent in traditional recipes, particularly those from northern Europe and Scandinavia (e.g. Speculoos, Tunnbröd or Lebkuchen). It was the precursor to today's more commonly used baking powder. It's a natural substance. It's not actually dangerous--over-corsetted and excitable ladies used to sniff it to revive themselves from swooning, or drink it dissolved in water. The chemicals I work with that require the mask, actually are, but not highly, and they're not for eating though they don't smell bad. Lots of nasty smelling things go into foodstuffs....See Moresushipup1
