For "Outlander" fans ... and you SHOULD be one!
Comments (15)They are all available in ereader form, I loved Outlander... In fact Diana herself on her website has put some of them up for free download. It benefits her because once you are hooked you have to have them all. There's quite a lot of them now. I posted not too long ago about one of her books on for like 99c. Do searches on amazon and Google for the outlander ebook series, here's the entire 7 book set in Kindle format. If you click that link and scroll down you will see some of her books are on sale right now for only a $1.99 each! Here's her blog about when she was giving some away. http://www.dianagabaldon.com/2010/10/free-outlanders/ maybe they will do it again because of the new tv series. Here is a link that might be useful: series...See MoreOutlander on Starz. You watching?
Comments (24)My sister and her daughters, and a couple of my nieces absolutely raved about these books. Sis is reading number 8 right now. I was visiting her these past couple days and they purchased Starz for 10 months just to watch this series. I will say, both she and her daughter weren't crazy about the woman playing Clair, or with Jamie. They said the same as some others, hair is not red, and he doesn't tower over her. I hope I can track down the books among friends and family and read them....See MoreFor Outlander fans
Comments (6)I got annoyed with it after a while. The way she started the book with the husband telling his wife about the scotsman looking at her through a window made me think the author was going to cycle back to it, but by the time the third book came along and it was obvious she was going to make this a very long series, I got bored and never went back. And, yoyobon, I'm with you; I got tired of the burning loins etc. LOL...See MoreSpeaking of TV shows.....
Comments (35)I am still trying to catch up on shows...Castle I'll catch soon...with 10 shows to watch you can tell I got bored with it...have really enjoyed Scandal, The Black List, HTGAWM, sooo many shows...sooo little time but my TIVO has lots of room and some of the networks have a skip feature which with the push of one button rids all the commercials...Although I do admit to liking some of the commercials...Think Suburu dog commercials and basically anything with a dog!!...must keep this post going cause there is gonna come a time when I'm looking for something to watch...Netflix is gearing up with some good ones as well as Amazon Prime!! I loved Simon Baker in The Guardian...have season one of the mentalist on DVD and have watched a few shows here and there... I loved Person of Interest...his whispering voice seems to be part of the persona of his character...he is such a good actor with so many places to go...I missed the show and am glad they are wrapping things up... I'm still not over Downton being gone and now their wrapping up Mr. Selfridge...I watched Poldark last year and am hoping there is more to that show on PBS......See More
