Paw Paw Patch, for me, today. Chicken fried steak with white gravy, baby green limas, squash casserole, Mexican cornbread

Leftover from last night some cheesy hash brown potatoes (ala Betty Crocker) . Making fresh chili seasoned burgers to go with , green beans, a plate of fresh cut cauliflower, cucumber, radishes, and pepper strips for crunch and a little dish of applesauce on the side.

I had planned on left-over pork sirloin, but friend's DH called to say he is bringing me some Walleye! I can change menus quite easily.

Think I am going to slow fry a hamburger patty and sauté some sliced mushrooms and top with a slice of Swiss cheese. Maybe a small baked potato. My granddaughter is going to have leftover soup and salad.

My son turned 22 yesterday so we are going out to eat Mexican for his birthday meal.

My son is visiting today he's outside now grilling chicken breasts that he maranated in something lol..I made scallop potatoes and fresh cut green beans. I have some oatmeal rasin cookies for the boys.

About once a month, I indulge in a store bought pizza. Today was the day for the month of Nov.

I have a cross rib roast in the crock pot with potatoes, carrots, and onion. I have never cooked one in a Crock-Pot before. Keeping fingers crossed.

Some pre-seasoned garlic and herb pork tenderloin with ??? Mainly I'm pondering what to do with the 16 pound turkey that my husband was given at work today. There are two of us. :)

I had a baked sweet potato and sauteed spinach. Now I want something for dessert but I have nothing in the house. Darn

Cabbage Rolls, left-over squash casserole and canned peaches. We'll have ice cream later for dessert.

I sauteed some steak to make a quesadilla with pepper jack cheese, green salsa and sour cream. Orange juice mixed with fizzy water for a beverage. A scoop of Ben & Jerry's Coffee Toffee Crunch ice cream for dessert.

The packaged sweet corn looked so good at the market, and against my inner self saying it couldn't be as good as the farmer stand corn in June/July I bought it. Fixed all three ears for supper with a side salad. That corn was soooo tough. ugh. I'll never be tempted again.

They now sell a corn on the cob in the canned veggie section. Its packaged in a plastic zip lock type bag. Its the most nasty corn I've ever eaten.

I had a big ol' ham bone with some of the meat still on it, in the freezer, so I fixed it in a pot of mixed bean soup, with added lentils, carrots, celery, and onions. Made crispy bottom corn bread, and since the oven was on, a couple of sheet pans of chocolate chip oatmeal bars. There's enough soup left for tomorrow night, and my dog will be thrilled with the bone. :)

I guess your dh is doing well now, Marilyn? I'm glad to hear it, though I can certainly understand your worry for his safety.

I had a hamburger patty and broccoli, and dh had an egg sandwich.

I made a pot of lentil soup yesterday and a little pan of corn bread for Robert. It was the perfect thing on a chilly evening. Can't wait for re-runs at lunch!

Butternut squash soup with a grilled cheese sandwich for us. I also sliced part of an apple.
