This was on the Today show yesterday. I was watching showbiz tonight & they had them doing the dance on the Today show. When I watched the video yesterday my eyes were rolling. When I watched it last night (the Today show version minus wedding attire) and again this morning, I still rolled my eyes. I think that if the song was shortened it may have had a different affect, but it was a bit too long; I wondered how hot, thirsty they all were from dancing up the isle, then running through the hall back to the main door to do it again. I also think if the dancing was a little better it would have made a difference; unless it was supposed to look like a bunch of men that couldn't dance and women that partially could. I give everyone credit for trying to be original but it's getting to be expected to see a choreographed dance at some part of the wedding. Next we will see the bride & her father along with groom & his mother choreographed. I loved my last wedding. Hubby & I went to Cypress Gardens in FL, just the 2 of us. The day was about us.

Son had a large wedding and reception but because it was in the afternoon, no dancing. But if we did have a song it would be Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me." His small high school graduating class sang that to the parents then they gave the mom's a rose. Talk about crying! DIL knows what a close knit family we are and she loves how close I am to my son's. Now that she's a mother of a son she really understands the special bond between son and mother which is not like the old saying goes, "A son is a son until he takes a wife, a daugther is a daughter for the rest of her life." Heck, I still get onto my children! I'll always remember Barbara Bush speaking about Jr., "Just because he's the President doesn't mean he can put his feet on my coffee table!" lol

I predict that this couple is going to be together forever b/c 1) they know how to have fun with each other, 2) neither one takes themselves too seriously, 3)they know how to work together as a team. May they "live long and prosper!"

there is so much 'hype' here in UK. It is supposed to be a national holiday (day off work) but my lovely boss (being sarcastic here) decided we should keep the garden center open and have a big screen tv in the coffee shop so people (shoppers NOT employees) can watch it. We've sold t towels, mugs, coloring books, sticker books, paper doll books etc. I hope the couple can enjoy their day even with the millions watching/reporting on their every move. Diane
