Dining Room decorating help

I have "ivory" chairs (seem more of a cream to me now) in my dining room with a medium gray wall, white chair rail and trim and black table. I think because of the white trim and rail, the chairs seem more "yellow" to me. Any suggestions? I have been looking for an area rug that has the darker ivory, white and gray or was thinking of staining the leather (not sure if this is possible), or repainting? Any suggestions much appreciated!!!!!

What a beautiful family! I'm not sure I'd use the large photo as a focal point though. I'd put it on an end wall or the beginning of a hallway with other family pictures, or in a living room short wall with family pictures there. I used to put our pictures in the dining room too, they were fun for awhile, then I got sick of seeing myself. lol.

I would add a narrow console table something like this under the windows. I recently posted about my living room and dining room updates. I am putting the final touches on the dining room and need some help with decor ideas. I’m thinking a mirror or possibly artwork for the large wall. I need some kind of wine rack. Also what to do with the corners? Do I need something tall? Do the vases and reeds look dated?
