If they are dormant, it should be easy. If they are not dormant, picture an octagon surrounding the trunk, and make shovel or blade cuts through the roots over 4 weeks, 2 opposite sides of the octagon per week. This will gradually root prune the plant, give it time to produce extra roots to help with the shock of the transplant. Once you have completed root pruning, then dig out the root ball, wrap in burlap, and transplant! Dig your holes ahead of time, and be sure you have vitamin B1 ready to soak into the water when you irrigate that hole to insert the plant and potting soil. I agree with Jean, select one as if it were your central cordon (which it will be). Cut it at the height you plan on vineing out a quarter to half inch above that bud (depends on local recommendations). If you want a two tiered arrangement then cut at a bud around the height of the lower tier and let it grow up and two shoots grow out from around there this spring. One exception would be a fan arrangement in which case you can use all of those vines. (see link for ideas. For a home owner I don't think there is a right or wrong or one way to do grapes. Yours is out in the open so will need some form of support. The doc is for commercial production outside your residence so some of what is said does not apply.) Nice looking vine BTW! I wouldn't move it now while it's growing. You don't want to disturb the growing flow. Let it go dormant, then transplant before it wakes up in spring. After you move it, you can prune it to your desired shape. Train the strongest healthiest arm for your trunk up the way you like. Don't remove the other growth, as it helps establish a good root system. Just train how many arms you like the way you like and then you can remove the unwanted growth before spring starts.

You will need from 15 to 22 gallon size. About 2.6 cubic feet.
