I agree that the Wolf cook tops are nice - my parents just did a massive renovation (gutting) of an entire house - and they put a Wolf 5 burner cook top in - granted it's not the commercial scorch your eyebrows of the BlueStar and others in that sphere, but I have cooked on it several times and think for the everyday cook it is just fine - and has a nice fit/finish to it (at least to my eye). We are just starting to build a new home and I will be looking very hard at the 36 inch Wolf range top (I want and would use an integrated griddle quite a bit - so want to do a little research and hand's on experimentation on that part before I make a final decision)

“does anyone, know if you can install a wall oven under the Wolf cooktop?” @susanrhill34 - there are issues with installing a wall oven under a cooktop. First, there is a clearance issue. You must make certain to abide by the clearance specified for below the cooktop, and the clearance specified for above the wall oven. There often is not enough room for both, so you’d have to find another combination of cooktop and wall oven where there would be enough clearance for both. Second, the wall oven installed under a cooktop will be so low to the ground that when the oven door is open, it is nearly touching the ground, and that low height is awkward and cumbersome for taking things out of the oven that are boiling hot, heavy, and/or sloshing. Third, you would be better served with buying a range. A range would cost thousands less than a cooktop with wall oven underneath including the challenges of installing them.

I second jewelisfabulous's comment. A popup isn't useless, but it isn't very good either. Mine is only partially useful for the back burners and it certainly disturbs the flames. I only use it for smoky high heat for a sear in a cast iron pan and I attempt to move the pan center to the diverted flame pattern. It is similarly useful when I have forgotten to adjust heat and have burned something. The popup will catch most of whatever has set the fire alarm off which proves that it is doing some good!!
