Another dilemma, I’m painting the kitchen cabinets SW extra white on the uppers and SW Cascades a dark beautifully rich green on lowers and island. I have a section where the double oven and fridge nook are connected. Do I paint that whole section white or cascades?

I think two is enough even for an island of that size. The style these days is for large pendants, so I don't think the one you've chosen will be too big. It may sound silly, but it might help you if you either blew up a balloon or made a cardboard cutout and hung it from the ceiling to help you visualize the scale. No one can tell you what is going to look right to you.
