Thank you, both, so much! We really enjoyed ourselves, and dinner was great. We'll be back the next time we get this way. You should see Patti & Denny's house! It's fantastic! We really like old barns, and I can't think of a better use for one that is no longer being used, except to recycle it into a beautiful home, and that's what they have done. It's very warm and welcoming. And so are they. We did get a pic of the four of us that I see Patti didn't post! I have to download mine to the computer and upload it to Photobucket. Don't think that will be tonight, tho. I'm pooped! and it's cold and rainy. Thank you, again, Patti. We made it to the campground in W. Omaha, finally. The wind got pretty bad. The big highway signs say that I-80 is closed at N. Platte due to blizzard conditions. Guess which way we are headed. But, the good news is that it looks like it will clear by tomorrow morning, by the radar at the weather service. Tami

So exciting! It is unreal to see your sketches come to life, isn't it? My DH was surprised by the little details, and the way everything looked together, but for me, it looked exactly as I had envisioned it in my head. We had our counters templated last friday, and install will be on tuesday. Then I will really get to see my vision completed! Can't wait to see yours :)

Funny thing is (well, not "ha ha" funny), Sherri hurts herself at least once a week. She is always in such a big hurry that she trips, she falls, she runs into things. When she moved in with my folks, it was so SHE could take care of them! My folks always joke that they're glad they lived long enough to take care of HER! :-) I told her 4-5 days ago when she fell in the yard that if one more thing happened, she would be fired as a caregiver. LOL! She reminded me of that when she called on the way home from the ER. We joke with each other a LOT, so I said, "What kind of a sick-o is so starved for attention that they'd whack off their own finger?" LOL! Guess I better get dressed and get on over there to help my mom make lunch!

I'm down in lower Orange County. We/I get at least one bear every other month or so. They seem to like our garbage and bird feeders. I guess it's easier than trying to forrage for roots and berries. Safe enough, just watch out for mamas with cubs. I keep a bucket with fist sized rocks by the door, just in case. Two saturday nights ago, my wife and I awoke to the sound of coyotes. Amazing and oddly beautifull.(I grew up watching american westerns)We're still waiting for eastern couger siteings. After that, I can't wait to see a stegosaurous nibbling at my asparagus plants! Might have to wait some time, as i've just planted the bed.. ;)
