Milk in Florida is outrageous. At Walmart, $3.45

I saw those at Ollie's but there was a big sign that said all the crayons were the same color, all I could think of is "how did that happen?" and "who would want all one color?" HA!

I found a brand new pair of Saucony tennis shoes at the flea market in just my size for $5! I was so excited! They were $120 shoes! Seriously! BRAND NEW!

I went to a flea market Sunday and in one of the rooms they they were giving away books for free. Old books, but some were mysteries that I enjoy reading. On a back table they had a sign that said $1 bag. My DD filled up her bag with all kinds of goodies.

Your Aldi prices are 50% less then the same items in my Aldi. They have the lowest prices available in this area. The problem is the high rental costs for commercial property on Long Island.

I did find a good bargain at Home Goods this morning. Very nice quality apron, with $29 tag for $7.99. Have paid $29 and thought a good price. My nickname is marcopolo , always in "search of" a good deal. :)

I purchased real wood or white faux wood 2" blinds....new...any size $5! The Restores in Denver had hundreds by Levolor. I went to 3 stores, found 5 blinds! YAY! The large ones would have been over $200 ea.

Nicole our restore has been getting huge lots of the blinds too. Fantastic bargains for those in need . We found the perfect little louvered door for the smaller kitchen pantry which was amazing because it's a weird size for I believe it was 2 dollars . I have been finding some great deals on the nextdoor forum for my area. Yesterday I got 3 beautiful solid oak bookcases that have a locking cabinet on the bottom to replace all my bookcases that were in my office and lost in the flood . Friday I got a huge beautiful antique solid wood chest of drawers for the bedroom , we lost all our master bedroom furniture except the bed and it is still in the pods so I don't know if it is OK. It's so nice to find stuff so close to home and the people are so nice especially when they find out they are helping a neighbor that flooded. In fact the lady yesterday dropped the price significantly . I paid $50! The chest of drawers was $60! I couldn't buy junk particle board furniture for that . But I tell you what stuff moves super fast on there . The people with the chest had a fantastic antique carved armoire I wanted but before I could contact her it was sold . There's a nice desk I want but he is too high for it but no one is buying so I might make an offer .

Thanks for the idea of the restore! I sort of forget about that one... it is a bit out of the way. I do want some blinds for a window here.

But, I went to Home Depot for supplies to get that nasty wood floor (it was covered with carpet when I bought) clean... and saw a basic lawn mower for 99 bucks. Well, I need one, and was planning on looking for one... but no more, LOL, I now own one. :)

You guys must all be bargain shoppers, and you do a good job of it. My 'bargain' was from McDonald's. Periodically, I get their coupons in the mail. After I got my banking business done this afternoon, I used a BOGO free McMuffins and had one for my supper.

Gadgets, we both had the urge for a Big Mac last week when we were leaving hubby's checkup appointment. We each had a Big Mac and shared a large fry. No drinks, and the bill was $15 and change. We were shocked, so we won't be doing that again!

Good grief Jasdip that's crazy! I have not been to a McDonald's in a very long time but wow. I usually go to get their fish sandwich which for some reason I really like and it is one of the cheaper items.

I have a Verizon cell phone and somehow end up with their points that I never know what to do with....today I realized I could get a subscription to Dwell magazine for free using some of the points. I'm happy! Free is my favorite amount..

Thrift store bargains today for me: 3 fleece nightgowns and two fleece winter tops all for $12 plus tax.

I found 2 shirts at a thrifts store for DH. He usually wears a 4XLT and these were 3XLT. I looked at them and I thought they looked huge. I thought they might fit him and I decided if I am out of 4.50 so be it. I brought them home and he tried them on and they fit him. One is a VanHeusen and one is a Haggar. He will only wear long sleeves and I felt really good about finding them. I usually have to pay around 30 dollars for 1. Someone said the VanHeusen is a 40 dollar shirt.

That is a lot of money for a Big Mac. Locally they are at least for now two for $5.00. There are a couple of other sandwiches too that are in that price, so you can mix or match. I don't know how much fries are by themselves. Any size drink from McDonald's is always a dollar. We never get coupons in the mail from McDonald's.

Wow, jasdip, on the cost of your McDonald's food. I think Big Macs here are over $4. I rarely buy items there that are not on the dollar menu, or on special or with a coupon.

On Saturday I got a package of this at a thrift store for only $1. I have been wanting to do something to my bathroom window.

Rose.....that's really pretty! Home Depot here wants $35 for a pkg of that.
