Anne, our photo class was on our way to the Cabrillo Lighthouse and stopped to take in the amazing sight of the cemetery under a shroud of fog. I took about 200 photos. Later in the morning, after visiting the lighthouse, we drove by and the fog had completely lifted leaving a view that looked nothing like above. It was really interesting to see. Wish we had stopped for some "after" photos. Jodi-

Jasdip, I found this on a Alpaca website Alpacas are sheared like sheep and there is no meat market for them in the U.S. . I had to check because I didn't think they were usually raised for meat or fur. I had actually looked into raising them many years ago. Great shots today everyone!

Our first frost came last night/this morning.

Petalique asked for a picture of my pup, and I'm only too happy to oblige. (Hope I haven't posted this one before.) I inquired here about the breed 7 years ago, and Chisue, who had a Westie at the time, encouraged my family to get this breed. Oski perches on the sofa back like a cat. He has been a joy to our family, through thick and thin. (He's named for UC Berkeley's mascot, the bear Oski.)
