Here's a cutie.

McConnells Mill State Park, Pennsylvania. Popular with hikers for it's rugged trails through the rocks and sheer drop offs down to the river. This beautiful weekend will almost certainly bring about the need for a rescue or two from the rocks by emergency personnel.

Aw......those beautiful faces!

Alpaca, a cousin of the Llama. Under bites seem to be prevalent among them. These two I found at the Buenos Aires Zoo.

Yow!

Jodi-

Oh the poor Alpacas! There are a few farms around here. I think they were touted as being the next best thing, for their fur and meat.

How do they eat??

taigen, that's not at Happy Rolphs is it?

Mush...no sorry, it is at a garden center here in N.B.

Taken around the Lake Village, AR. area several years ago....maybe in Mississippi just after you cross the bridge.

"A face only a mother could love"!! Fantastic pictures today. Thanks for sharing them.

Jasdip, I found this on a Alpaca website Alpacas are sheared like sheep and there is no meat market for them in the U.S. . I had to check because I didn't think they were usually raised for meat or fur. I had actually looked into raising them many years ago.

Great shots today everyone!
