Thanks for responses. I don't think it has the characteristics of Cotyledon as the leaves are heart-shaped, no red tinges, with no center point and the flowers are apparently not red on a stem but rather an insignificant green. I was told this by a neighbour of mine who took a cutting and grew it in her garden where it flowered. I took these photos during the past couple of days. The plants are outdoors in a street planter and they are well kept. But everything grows like weeds here in this climate without much attention. Cactusmcharris I will go out and see what Aeoniums I can find growing outdoors. I live just a few steps away from a botanical garden where I can go and also find these plants growing in large outdoor beds. And I'll come back with photos of whatever I find. Thank heavens the plants there are labeled. I may also find the ID and the variety of this succulent in the archives of the botanical garden. But please keep ideas coming. It is commonly known as the Florist Kalanchoe, it is sold at box stores, and may not be in flower at this time. My nursery grows these as well. Bob you are right it is K. blossfeldiana Poelln. They come in many colors, I have an orange one in flower at this time sitting out in Western exposure. The reason it can't be recognized is because it is in new growth, the leaves are usally darker green when grown in shade, this plant is recognizable the world over. The leaves usually cup up. I also have a fushia red in flower. No yellows, I may have lost those in our recent freeze.They are even producing double or triple flowered varieties which look like tiny miniature Roses. Dufflebag

This is just an idea, but it looks like Flour Dust Plant, Kalanchoe pumila. That's a spreading plant with the lobed, kind of waxy or leathery leaves like the one in the pic. If I'm right, try taking a leaf cutting; it produces several new plants along the leaf margin, not at the stem side where cuttings taken from echeverias etc. produce their new plants. Good luck with it.

I think some sort of C. arborescens as well. Can you get a good look at the bottom? Is it just one stem, multiple, or crested? Where did you get it from? It's possible that culture lead it to look a little abnormal. The amount of light these get really affect the leaf shapes and sizes. It reminds me of the one I sent you before I separated all the different stems. -Erica
