Looking to rebuild my plant collection, no nurseries in my area

John Anderson

I have had to give up my plant collection some time ago, and the hardest was my 25 year old Hoya Australis I grew from a single leaf stem cutting. The blooms were amazing and I miss that scent. There are no nurseries in my area worth dealing with (Walmart plants are horrible). I am looking for low light, hardy plants to start my rebuilding. I apologize that I have no plants at the moment to trade and I hope this will not be an issue. Here is my wish list...

  • Hoya - any species, but Australis and Carnosa are on the top of the list...
  • Philodendron
  • Pothos
  • Boston Fern
  • Agleonema (Chinese Evergreen)
  • Peace lily
  • Moth Orchid
  • Spider plant (any variety)
  • Begonia
    Jade Plant
  • Any highly fragrant, low/medium light perennial...

My house is a hundred years old and woefully lacking in windows. I do have a great eastern exposure and one big west window. I have much experience in propagating from cuttings and am happy obtaining such.
I am in south central British Columbia and can send shipping funds through Paypal. I can also assist with some funds where needed, as long as I don't breach the rules.
I can be contacted directly through email at johncarl (~AT~)spaceshipinstitute.org
Thank you for your kindness...
John.
