I found numerous images of this kitchen, but unfortunately no info on countertop and backsplash..at least not yet.

Seems either Quartz or very very subtle marble to me. Since the backsplash seems to be marble-I'm inclined to think the countertop is marble as well.

Will be interesting to hear other opinions.

As for the floor-I guess it'd depend on the stain? The backsplash and countertop will look great anyway; it the contrast/lack thereof with the cabinets that needs to be considered.

My first thought is that the top is a white corian or other solid surface. It doesn't appear to have a high sheen, but that could be in the photography. You could get a similar look with a Quartz, marble or Corian. The backsplash could be a natural stone - limestone, marble or something. They usually come in the brick style with coordinating trim pieces & mosaics that are used over the range.

I personally don't think you would get the same effect with oak floors. The natural grain of the hickory wouldn't stand out as much because you would have a similar (but different) grain running through the floors. You also wouldn't have the contrast of the light and dark elements working together.

Corian countertop, a pretty offwhite/variagated white subway tile backsplash both of which may look fine with your exact cabinets. But part of the look of the room is the difference between the cabinets and the floor. The floor here is really a different color from the cabinet much lighter, red oak floors would not provide sufficient contrast.

(Interestingly, in one of the recent posts on aging in place someone noted that it was important to have the cabinets, the floor and the countertop different enough that it helped people with failing eyesight notice the difference.)
