Where do you purchase your photo frames?

I recently had some photos enlarged. I used Artifact Uprising for the photos that I wanted enlarged beyond the sizes that Walgreens offers. I wondered where everyone else has their photos enlarged? Maybe someone here has good advice on where to purchase frames. I love the frames at Room and Board. I plan to purchase one or two of them that are unique and that I haven't seen elsewhere. They have some with metal that look like copper that I like. I also love their metal Manhattan collection. I want a collected look of many different types of frames all profile with ivory or white matting. Where do you buy frames? Does anyone use a service for enlarging photos that you are thrilled with? I researched and found articles comparing all the different avenues of photo enlarging and that's why I used Walgreens for the smaller pictures and Artifact Uprising for the large as those were rated very high. If anyone knows of any other places though I would love to hear about it.

I have bought many photo frames over the years--for me, to give as gifts, and for photo exhibits. Almost all came from AC Moore or Michaels, usually purchased with one of their coupons.

As for printing enlargements, I'm a big fan of Mpix.com. I've also used Adoramapix.com. The latter costs a little less, but I often take advantage of Mpix's sales--as I did this week when I used them to make a photo book for 40% off. The many 11x14 and 16x20 enlargements I've made for exhibits were all done by Mpix, and so beautifully. They also do the Christmas cards I design.

Michaels, always with a 50% off coupon because I find their frames expensive, but not a lot of choice around here.

Hi Vicki, I also had several pieces of my work framed at Michaels, but each one had to be done over several times and they are still not right. I now take my pieces to a local Art Store. I live in North West NJ, and I would be happy to give you the name of the store, and perhaps you can let me know which Michaels you use!

Majority are in photo albums. Or sitting in a pile waiting for someone to put them in albums. I have a "gallery" of photos on the stairway wall going from 1st to 2nd floor. I have several small framed photos on bookshelves throughout the house. I also have some larger (8x10) family travel pics in our basement family room. We have so many great pics from vacations but I just don't have space to display them all. I should drag out the digital photo frame that someone gave us but I didn't have the patience to figure out...

Bella mine have done pretty well for me here. I don't know the answer to own root vs grafted. Some of mine were new last year so too early to say much, although Christopher Marlow, Princess Alexandra of Kent, and Sharifa did really well for first year roses. Some that I've had for a while are GT, GC, Munstead Wood, Olivia Rose, Mary Rose, Scepter, Queen of Sweden. Of those, I think the best performers for me have been Scepter, Olivia, Mary, and MW. They pretty much all die to the ground over winter, but I don't do much in the way of winter protection. I really hope Christopher winters well, I got 2 and they had blooms pretty much all the time.

I quit buying pictures beyond 8x10 because I don't have a good way of storing them when they don't fit the decorating scheme. Hobby Lobby has a selection of frames and you can get custom frames there. They have 40-50% off sales and coupons so just ask. Sometimes they will hold the work or you just need to make another trip back it to drop it off. It's pricey, but worth it.

I'm always looking for frames from my cross stitch pictures and I've some really, really nice ones at the Good Will or Salvation Army stores.....Of course, if I have a good coupon for Michael's or JoAnn's, I'll get them there.....Another place that has nice frames is Kohl's , lots of original ones.......

I don't usually need large frames and most of the time buy mine at rummage sales. Just recently bought two very nice ones for twenty five cents each.
