Interesting information, Mary, thanks for taking the time/effort to post it. Interesting about it being toxic to the caterpillars! Good to know! Here's a plant that's looking good now, as it does every single day of the year, good ol' Euphorbia rigida in my front garden. I have several of them out front. Some get full sun all year and some get full sun in summer and mostly shade in winter. All grow, thrive and bloom for me. I water them once a month in winter and once every week or every other week in summer. That's it. The only real maintenance is a quick once-a-year trimming of stems that have bloomed and set seed. Stems that bloomed will die (but there are always other stems that won't bloom until next year), so I trim them back to about 3 inches (new side shoots sprout from the base of the fading just-set-seed stems). So easy. The trimming is once a year, and takes a whopping 5 minutes a plant. I don't know why everyone doesn't grow these! In any case, here are a couple of kinda bad pics from this afternoon, LOL. That's an Agave parry and a "cardon" cactus (Pachycereus pringlei, a muuuuch faster, bluer growing relative of the saguaro) to the right in the first pic. Happy gardening all! Hey again GG, I don't know the BEST way to prop. Ceropegias, but I know stem or tip cuttings work for some of them. I grow 2 Ceropegias, C. woodii (common string of hearts), the green & the variegate; these form tubers, but also work from tip cuttings. I also grow C. sandersonii, which has never bloomed for me yet, but of which I've shared stem cuttings w/ several folks on here, that's worked OK. Your Photo #30, on the lower left area, shows several seeds pods, can't say if they're from that same plant. If no one here should know the answer, I'd search further online, also check my friend's Ceropegia Journal as I forget if he discusses propagation. Can't tell where in the US you live. Would you be planning to grow these indoors or out?

That's great, hope you don't want to get rid of the leaves :) Your sempervivums are also nice, but they seem to be drooping the leaves down, could some be little too wet perhaps? Another reason for them to do some of that could be not enough light? The last photo is also showing etiolated plants. That could be avoided by providing better light. Couple of pots could have soil level raised - plants are getting 'lost' too low in the container. Is there a drainage hole in all of your containers? Graptopetalum may be G. pentalum s. superbum.
