how to make sure your monitor has true color ...
Comments (1)I am satisfied with the colors my cheap Kodak camera produces. That is when looking at photos taken in shade or semi-shade. Photos in glaring sun light are not good anyway. Those colors match what I saw outside. It also matches the colors of my computer monitor background which is a photo Hosta Hillbilly showed here in this forum last year (or 2010?). HH, how are you doing? Bernd...See MoreHow to diagnoss a problem w/o a monitor
Comments (17)The young man who came to the house said everything is running, so he thinks it the video card. Mine is built into the mother board but there is a slot for another one. Don't come back with "that's not right" because I may not be using the right terminology or understanding the process. The part is $95 plus the $85 for the hour, so I am going ahead with it. I don't know any experts except the kind that just came out, so I'm going to take a chance on his diagnosis. Another expert would charge another service call. I will update you on this. He said I have a very nice computer he was surprised to see what was inside....See Morenew monitor.. How do I darken it...
Comments (3)I got it fixed today.. This monitor will take some time to get used to..it is much sharper but different. Before when I received pix of my G-grandchilden(twins) They were SO dark I had to print them sometimes to even see them. They were OK when I printed them.. now they jump right out at me :) Some things are still a little lite but thing it is a dark as it goes.. Dar...See Morehow to read the radon vacumm monitor?
Comments (2)The difference shows how much difference in pressure(vacuum) is being maintained. The number indicated may be set by the equipment being used. It would be worth finding out what the initial readings were or what the system manufacturer recommends. A lower reading may indicate a small leak. Now, to clarify---even a small leak in that system does not mean radon is leaking into your home. It does not mean there is a health problem. It simply means the efficiency of the system is lowered a bit---but the system is still working as designed....See Moretibbrix
