Comments (2)It may regrow from the root if you just cut it off at ground level. I find the stems break off at the soil level most of the time I try to yank it out--the root goes at 90 degrees to the stem. If you do this while the ground is soft, and try to wiggle it as you yank, you're more likely to get the root....See MoreThinning out my Supplies!! Want some?
Comments (7)When you mean cd's of certain artists, do you mean originals or copies burned to cd? I have lots of Loreena McKennit, Clannad, ALtan, Chieftains, etc., but I'm not willing to part with the originals because I love Celtic music too! If so, I would be willing to burn lots of stuff (nice labels and cover art as well, for wedding themed scrabbook stuff and maybe some tools. My upcoming wedding scrapbook is the first I will attempt, so I want it to turn out nicely, or course. And advice would be happily accepted. I too, am now into digital photography and would love to do scrapbooking on the computer too. Is the software you are in search of the best out there? I can feel that this hobby may get addictive and expensive if I let it! Thanks! Debi...See MorePlanted too many pumpkin plants in container, can I thin out?
Comments (0)I purchase some pumpkin plants at my local nursery for a $1. I have no idea what type they are, I just thought it would be fun for my grandson to grow his own pumpkins for Halloween. So far they seem to be doing ok. I've been researching about care for them and discovered I have too many in the pot. How can I thin them out without killing them? I have 2 containers of them, just not sure how to proceed. Im only looking to get a few pumpkins overall. POT#1 POT#2 Its been pretty humid here and I noticed the leaves are getting the powdery mildew. I will be spraying them with the baking soda and water mixture today. Thanks in advance for any advice :)...See More- 7 years ago
