Removing Baby Fruit

PacNorWreck

Hello everyone,

My quest to revive my lemon and lime continues. They aren't dropping leaves anymore, but they haven't put out a flush of new growth since I repotted them into 5-1-1 about 6 or seven weeks ago. Both plants (but especially the Meyer Lemon) have been blooming like crazy though, which I know is a stress response. When is the optimal time to pick the baby fruit to encourage the plant to move on to a flush of leaf growth? Is my Meyer putting out 10+ blooms and setting 5+ fruit a week because I'm picking the baby fruit too early?

Thanks!
