Kay, we might spoil it for others if we tell you where to look! The search is all of the fun.

It's something that you would expect to see in such a setting, though.....nothing out of place.

The photographer did what most of us would do and captured the animal pretty much in the center.

A dog? I don't think so!

To make it harder, there is another less obvious one in the picture.

I found it too but only when I clicked onto it and out it popped.

One popped out at me like that Thurday night, but I was standing at my kitchen sink looking out the window. I woke DH up to see it, then watched for almost an hour....

I didn't really think there was a dog there, but in the larger yellow circle it looks like the face of a German shepherd. It looks like a squirrel in the smaller circle.

Ha! I wonder now if I'm seeing the obvious one or the less obvious one.

I looked again, and I definitely see this "animal". It's not what I first thought.

It's not appropriate for the scene that is offered, but dark things like the big yellow circle often (in the tropics) are termite nests.

Mama-Bear, if you go straight down the trunk where your "German Shepard Face" is "I" see a small fantasy bear with his back to the trunk, his front paws up behind his head, and his knees pulled up! Those two green leaves are just below the left side of his face!!! But then, I also see the outline of a groundhog high up on the far right trunk. I really don't do drugs! LOL

As for the hidden critter; I don't know who he is!!!

Hint.....it's not the colour of the leaves.

caroline, I see your bear! If you go straight left to the middle of the pic, you'll find the critter.

But it really is more fun when we have to wait until tomorrow for the answer. I know I get impatient, too, especially when I can't find anything on my own! But very obvious hints kind of spoil the fun.

Mama goose, it probably doesn't exist....just shadows or blotches that remind one of bears, fish, dog faces, etc. I love it!

So much is our mind's desire to see pattern. I see a guy in the bark of the tree on the far right doing a scream a la Munch's piece, but it's just shades of dark and light.

Definitely looks like another owl to me.
