Here are the 2 does from yesterday's photos. The first pic was easy, the second, not so much.

Today's picture is a hunter who is well camouflaged. Now let me be clear, I'm not an advocate of hunting at all, I'm just using these examples for the hidden critter game :-)

Well I messed up that last old one...I thought I saw a dove or a pigeon hiding under the tree...

I saw the same bird too. Couldn't figure out what type of bird, just that it had a white head and looked too small to be an eagle.

There's probably some iron in the rocks that give a few of them that reddish hue, but when I enlarge the pic, I only see rocks. It's amazing how the brain wants to recognize pattern out of random shades of dark and light....it's how we can see images in the clouds. But I only see the one owl. This really is a random pattern, though it's hard not to see the face.

That one was too much for me, I gave up and waited for the answer. It was hot, I was busy, my plumber was here running a line to my refrigerator which didn't have water for the ice maker. He had to go from the sink, behind the dishwasher, around a corner and through the backs of the lower cabinets. His shoulders were too wide to get inside my lower cabinets, was both sweating and bleeding before he had finished. But he did finish and I have ice if anyone should want it ;0)

minjeeah....so here's a story for you. :0) My DH got an email he'd won 1st place in a photo contest. It's the Cheyenne Mtn park open space here in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We stopped by the parks Visitors Center to see the display, but they had a yoga class in the display room. So we hiked a nature trail behind the building while we waited and saw the bobcat.....

A vole looks more like a mouse. They are a true pest of gardeners, farmers, and orchardists. In the winter, voles will chew the bark from woody trees and shrubs, causing some real damage. This guy is a little shrew, a ravenous carnivore and insectivore. As tiny as they are, shrews have a reputation for being very feisty and fearless. They have sharp teeth and their bites are mildly venomous. We don't see shrews very often, but they are very common. They live under leaf litter or in tunnels that some other animal has excavated.

I never did find the deer in the second picture yesterday!

The hunter today might be well disguised, but his rifle sure isn't!

I'm so glad you are doing these, Jasdip! I really enjoyed them when someone else was doing them last fall, and missed them when she stopped. They are really fun! Frustrating sometimes, but fun. Thank you!

P. S. Skitch Touch is another program that came on this PC that can be used to draw circles. Can do it freehand or it will use a shape, circle, square, ellipse, etc..

My picture I did yesterday with the deer circled. But I still want to know about the people in the red circle!

I spotted today's hunter immediately. Different textures and a gun.
