And the new series Timeless where there is time travel involved.

Our cable provider dropped the BBC America
channel. :( I miss Orphan Black, Dr. Who, Copper and the really good
documentaries they aired.

At least Penny Dreadful isn't on the BBC

The Knick was on Cinemax and had a strange ending last season (or was it two seasons ago?) I enjoyed that show very much too.

I am really enjoying reruns of The Closer. I didn't know it existed before a few months ago and I really like it. When I still had cable I recorded a bunch of Major Crimes which is The Closer without Kyra Sedgewick but I never got around to watching them. I've "cut the cord" as they say and now just have free tv which I am very happy with, but of course am much more limited to what is available (at least available for free).

I watched "Chesapeake Shores" last night--the new show on Hallmark Channel. I enjoyed it and will continue watching. The Hallmark shows are usually very good.

I despair of seeing a third "Knick". Guess no new director signed up to make more.

I'm still trying to figure out "The Man in the High Castle" after completing Season 1.

Right now we are watching "Fortitude", Season 1.

We tape PBS: "The Tunnel" and "Inspector Lewis". Have two more of each to watch.

"Indian Summers" Season 2 is coming up on PBS; also "Home Fires" and "Churchill's Secret", which is listed as 'new' but sure sounds familiar. (Wonder if they will show his pink silk undies.)

Looking for "Crimson Fields". Don't plan to watch any more of "Poldark" -- that horse must be exhausted from being galloped along the coast! We've already seen "Dancing on the Edge" on DVD (liked it).

Have "Happy Valley" on our Amazon Prime watch list.

New Tricks was one of my favorites -- still is. Watch reruns on Hulu.

Agatha Raisin on Acorn. It's a delightfully devilish murder mystery series set in the Cotswolds.

I'm a sucker for anything set in the Cotswolds.

Crade To The Grave is a very funny and quirky British comedy set in the '70s.

Love Catastrophe, Schitt's and Hello Ladies.

The pairing of Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara is among the best comedy duos ever.

Well, seems I will just HAVE to check out "Schitt's Creek"... purely because of that title?!?

Anyone watching "Zoo"? Was a summer show last summer and I enjoyed it. A bit sci-fi... some mutation made in animals around the world that is making them turn on humans. Was glas to see it come back this summer... probably only a few episodes left for season 2?? Based on a James Patterson book... I really need to go find that book. Have a feeling that some of the kinda confusing "scenes" might be pulled directly from the book... like something you'd only get IF you had read it? Some of the special effects are a little close to those on bad Syfy channel movies... but an entertaining diversion.

Zoo sounds intriguing!

Schitt's Creek was just on the periphery of my radar until I was home recuperating from surgery. I decided I'd try it (because I admit I was a little too "good" to watch a show named that) on the assumption that I'd hate it... and zipped through both seasons in less than a week. Each episode is just 21 or 22 minutes... Even my husband likes it. :)

What channel for Dr. Foster?

It's over now, but I highly recommend Hell on Wheels about the building of the transcontinental railroad (not a documentary). So good! I started Peaky Blinders, it's ok but not as good as Hell on Wheels. Both on Netflix.

"Animal Kingdom". Beyond weird & very R rated - lots of bad language & nudity. Didn't think I'd like it, but Ellen Barkin is fabulous & the dysfunctional relationships in the family sucked us in. We've watched the entire 1st season & are looking forward to second.

Speaking of nudity, I've been watching the first season of "Masters of Sex." I like it. I was telling my son about it, and discovered he'd never heard of Masters & Johnson. Then I found some friends closer to my own age who never heard of them either. I remember them vividly. I wonder why . . .

I've never heard of most of the shows listed (no tv so am limited to streaming but do have Hulu and Netflix available). I checked out Happy Valley because I loved Sarah Lancashire in Last Tango in Halifax, and now I'm hooked. It's so disturbing, but very well done. I had to make myself quit watching last night so I didn't watch the whole series in one sitting.

We have Netflix, HULU, Amazon Prime so have been catching up on old shows we never saw like Sopranos, Saving Grace, Banshee. I have to admit, DH and I don't like all the nudity and sex scenes in some of the shows like Banshee, but it seems a lot have gone in that direction. Current shows we watch are Zoo, Motive, Braindead, Dead of Summer, American Gothic and Aquarius. We really liked the Netflix produced show Stranger Things. It really held your interest and, we thought, well written and acted.

I'm sick with a wicked head cold (I hate summer colds!) and found a guilty pleasure of a show today, on Bravo: Below Deck. I watched several episodes of Below Deck Mediterranean-about mid season to the finale-and it was great reality tv soap opera drama.

Fun scenery and escapism.

We don't watch much on PBS except my husbands shows like This old house and Ask this old house and some other woodworking shows but they have cancelled so many of them that he loved.

Will have to check out some of the shows mentioned on PBS. We have not been streaming at all. Right now in the rv we stick with the Direct tv for what we watch. Currently into the new season of Big Brother. WE love Suits so glad it is still on. Love the last ship. Rizzoli and Isles and so sad it is ending for ever after this season. Major Crimes is a regular and so was The Closer when it was on so sorry it is gone too. Still loving Devious maids! We always watch American Pickers too. And absolutely love those Black Dog salvage guys and gals on Salvage Dawgs! I want to go to their store!
