Comments (8)ZAGG makes a nice one that is standalone but it's pricey but they have it at Walmart. You can go to walmart and get a generic stand alone Bluetooth keyboard with rubber keys for like $10-$20 I think it was. They also had a generic tablet case with a keyboard that had rubber keys at Walmart for like $10. I like the a mini keyboard with the solid plastic keys on a spring so that's what my case has and my case is made specifically to fit my device to line up all openings for the buttons on my tablet and the keyboard has magnets so if I just want to take the case the keyboard comes off the case. You can also find tablet cases with keyboards that plug into the minis USB instead of using Bluetooth. My friend has one for her tablet and it works just as good as mine and hers was generic to fit any tablet and has plastic keys with the spring underneath. If you search on amazon for your model tablet and put keyboard case after it you can see what is available or search generic tablet keyboard cases and such. Comments (3)Yes it certainly does not hurt and they don't use much battery power and have some added benefits some will help you find your phone if lost or stolen. The top 2 I recommend are Lookout security and AVAST both have free versions. They can both be found in the app stores. I would read the attributes of both and decide which you prefer. I have used both, I currently have AVAST on my tablet but have lookout on other devices....See MoreTV or Computer/Tablet for the Kitchen
Comments (8)I've come to the conclusion that it's best to use an iPad (even a cheaper earlier version) to access the Internet, and leave the TV for TV. We have a 46" TV mounted on the wall, and it's Internet-connected, but we use the Internet connection for things like Netflix, not to browse the web. Tablets are also nicer because you don't have to worrry about where to put the keyboard or mouse. NDSA -- for the cable box, in my case I pulled cables through a wall and put the box in a cabinet. You also have to remember to have a remote sensor from the cable box to the TV, so your remote control will still work. Either that, or you would buy a custom remote control that can work through cabinet doors. You may also need to deal with venting because cable boxes produce modest amounts of heat....See MoreDo you use one of these? (Thingamajig for tablets and phones,I think)
Comments (11)I have one! I have a few! I love them!I have a cover for my tablet that attaches with a magnet, so my favorite stylus has a metal clip. I have a couple that are also pens (freebies from my stylist and my realtor). I don’t find them as easy to use all the time, might have to do with the shape. And I have one that is too skinny, and one that is too short. Yeah, I’m a regular Goldilocks when it comes to my stylus. They are great for doing jigsaw puzzles on the tablet. And yet, I still get fingerprints on the screen. Probably from typing....See More- 9 years ago
