Help with Pendant Lights

I am trying to find pendant lights to go with my dining room fixture which I am taking to the house we just bought. The dining fixture has what is a silver/gold finish and all of the others have satin nickel finish. I might paint them all the same finish, I haven't decided yet. They will go in the adjacent open plan kitchen to the dining room.

So which of these options do you think work the best, or if none then what would you suggest?

If it's an open floor plan, I'd keep looking for pendants with matching color.

It was from Troy Lighting several years ago (Eclipse series, they had them with various numbers of lights) and I don’t think it’s made anymore: https://www.lightingnewyork.com/product/troy-lighting-eclipse-pendant-f2805.html Maybe someone knows of something similar, good luck.

Curious what you decided. Having the same dilemma with our planned l-shaped island. 113” long on one side, 60” on the other side of the L- whole thing is 36” wide. Looking at 8” pendants _ do we need 4 or 5. The 60” side is essentially our dining spot with stools, the longer side has sink/trash/dishwasher. We will also have 4 recessed over walkways and under cabinets lighting along 2 walls.

Lynn the handle length is good..but the handles themself are horrible…you will get caught on those ends more than you can imagine…they should replace the doors or pay for new hardware for you that fits those holes that you love and credit you for the hardware you already bought. So sorry this was a big mistake on their part.

yes your math is good those fixture will not give good working light, too bright will be right in your eyes, to dull will not light the surface, be sure you have good placement on the recessed.

Thanks for the replies. My problem is the only ones I can find in this same finish are the matching pendants for this collection which are way too big at 10" wide and are a bit too matchy matchy. I will probably paint any one I get to match.

I like #3 because the pendant shape relates better to the inside shapes of the chandelier.

The designer for my mom's new house has a mixture of this finish, chrome and nickel in her kitchen/living/dining rooms. While it's not matchy, it actually goes together pretty well.

I wouldn't worry about the finish differences and focus on the relation of shapes - #3 works best.

To me - and this is JMO - having every finish match is static and boring - even when the fixtures are within eyesight of each other. I wouldn't necessarily mix polished brass with iron with chrome with ORB all in the same room, but pick 2 and you can have an interesting mix.

Wow thanks everyone for all of the help. The consensus seems to be #3.

Do any of you think there might be better options? Suggestions?
