Andersen 200 Series as insert?
Comments (8)When I replaced my windows I think Woodwright was the only Andersen insert option. It now looks like you can get Tilt-Wash inserts and also a 100 Series window that can be installed as an insert - is that what you mean by "composite by Andersen"? I was looking for wood interiors. Marvin Ultimate was my first choice but they were a little too expensive for my budget. Andersen Woodwright was a close second and I have been very happy with them. I also looked at Harvey but the quality was a big step down from Marvin and Andersen. I didn't talk to Pella or Renewal by Andersen just because I didn't like their sales approaches. Can't comment on the Andersen 100 Series or other options - but I'm sure others will!...See MorePella Pro-Line (450 series) vs Marvin Integrity Cost difference
Comments (9)Leaps and bounds better quality IMO. The wood interior on the Integrity is largely isolated from moisture due to the fact that it's basically a fiberglass window with a veneer interior. The pella on the other hand is wood clad in its true definition. I've seen 10 year old Integritys that look good as new, while most pro lines are due for replacement around that time frame. Try to get a look at a corner cut of each to see what I'm talking about. Price wise the integrity is probably a little more, but should be in the same ballpark. I've sold and installed both...See MoreNew Construction - Pella Proline vs Integrity vs Andersen
Comments (10)We don't care for the Integrity windows. They are the lowest line of Marvin and don't have the same features and look of the regular Marvin line. They have no exterior profile and look like trailer windows once installed. The regular Marvin line is nice quality. We use Pella and have had no problems. We are slowly replacing the windows in our own home with Pella. Some of them have been in for 4-5 years now and no problems with them. What I don't like about Pella is that the glass has more green tint to it than some other companies. We don't generally use Anderson so we have no experience with them. We have had to use them a time or two to match up with existing windows. Our real issue is with the companies here that sell them and the fact that they are hard to work with....See MoreKrestmark 200 vs MI 3500 series windows
Comments (3)Both krestline and Mi windows are low quality garbage. You cannot beat the system and get quality at a cheap price, it doesnt work that way. I would not call andersen or pella top quality either. high end vinyl will yield the best energy efficiency at the best price. Look at soft lite , okna, sunrise, or kensington. those are all solid brands. If you want wood, look into marvin or kolbe....See Moremillworkman
