Hi Beth, the tile used in this back splash is an Iridescent Glass mosaic tile. The pattern is called subway, they come in a mesh. I don't have the particular name of the tile purchased here, however I can tell you that similar tiles are available through Oceanside tile, this is a manufacturer, and you would need to find a local tile store that you can purchase from. Please visit their website to get more details. Oseanside glass tile, good luck in your search for the perfect tile. It's a task that can take time...but you will be glad you spent to the extra time and effort finding something that you will love.

It's actually the floor tile I'm looking at (sorry not to be more specific) but the back splash is beautiful- they both work together nicely.

ItÂs not Creeping Charlie. ItÂs the first-year seedlings of Garlic mustard. Garlic mustard is a very nasty invasive biennial that spreads rapidly, crowding out native plants. The first year, it grows a rosette of small rounded leaves. The second year, it sends up a flower stalk with triangular toothed leaves. The seeds can lie dormant for up to six years, so even if you get rid of these seedlings there will likely be more next year. Try to pull up as many as you can before they bloom and set seed. You just might want to think about installing plenty of hand-rails, and do be sure you wear your slip-proof booties in there at all times. OR, you could use honed stone intead of polished. As for the booties, you'd be better off in bare feet. That being said, I HAVE installed plenty of polished marble bathroom floors, as well. That includes one in statuary white I had in my last house, and never had a problem with slipping.

What do you think of putting a mirror above the entertainment center? my Dad has a really cool one that is made up of several vertical columns, with the overall shape being a neat diamond configuration.
